The Belgian Front Memorial Trail highlights the region's rich historical landscape, steeped in traces of the First World War. This special initiative is aimed not only at sports and history enthusiasts but also contributes to fundraising for scientific research into ALS.
Explore the historic frontline of the First World War during a challenging trail run. The route leads participants past memorable war monuments, cemeteries, and historical sites that have shaped this region. Along the way, supporters can enjoy the sights and cheer on their loved ones.

Date: Saturday 3rd May 2025
- The Long Way: 100.9 km solo or team relay up to 10 people - departure at 7:00 A.M. from Peace Village Mesen - arrival at the Grote Markt in Diksmuide
- Short Run: 5.0 km - departure at 12:30 P.M. from the Grote Markt in Diksmuide - arrival at the Grote Markt in Diksmuide
- Half Marathon: 21.1 km - departure at 2:00 P.M. from the Grote Markt in Diksmuide - arrival at the Grote Markt in Diksmuide
